Hi.
As I was watching the trailer, the one thing I kept wanting to do was to tilt the camera down so that I could see further ahead. The position of the character on screen means that when moving forwards (i.e., up the screen), you don't get much visibility, and that the lower half of the screen is effectively wasted space.
The game looks promising though. Hope this feedback is useful.
Camera seems a bit off
Re: Camera seems a bit off
Hi!
Corven is an isometric RPG, not third person. The world is designed with that camera angle in mind.
Do you know Diablo or Divine Divinity? That's the style of camera angle the game is intentionally going for. Not because of those games, but because of the game series Corven is inspired by, Ultima.
Examples:
Ultima 7 (our main inspiration):
Diablo:
The difference between Ultima, Diablo and Corven is, that in Corven you can turn and zoom the camera.

Thanks for the reply.
Possibly not an issue for others, I mentioned it only because this was my initial response on seeing the trailer for the first time.
