Every airport has terminals, which are specific places where travelers can check in for flights, board and disembark, go through security, and access other services. All airports terminals  typically has a large number of gates, duty-free shops, restaurants, airline lounges, waiting areas, and baggage claim sections. Depending on the size of the airport, different airlines, flight paths, and modes of transit (domestic or international) may be served by one or more terminals. Terminal layouts are designed to make the journey easier and more enjoyable for travelers by making it easier for them to get from check-in to boarding.
